Happy 2016 peeps!

It's a new year again and naturally one would look back and evaluate the past year. How was 2015 for IPA?

It was definitely saddening for us separate and go on our own ways, but obviously it was not evadable. A lot of us went separate ways in different countries and cities. Monica and Dalvina went to Japan, Billy went to Shanghai, Edyanto to Taiwan while Michelle left for States. Amelia and Dixon went to Malaysia, while Jacey, Diana, Chin Lek and Yuli went to Singapore. Most of us went to Tangerang, including Aldo, Fiona, Kinta, Jovito and Vanessa. Some others like Rachel went to Jogja, while Martyn left for Bandung and Vivian to Medan. Surely some of us stayed in our base camp, including Chelsy, Yeny, Jeven, Ryandy and Sindy. While some of us haven't yet left for college, we are also starting to have a sight of our future path. Terry got admitted into Medicine in UPH, joining the others in Tangerang, hopefully together with Jacky who's in the midst of preparing his portfolio. Herlisman's back from learning his German, and hopefully he can achieve his goals this year too. And I too would be leaving to Singapore hopefully by this April. It was good to see that every one of us has found our desired or designated path; and it is always cool to see how we are sprawled across the globe, striving for a day where we can meet altogether again with an eased mind.

I was taking a look back on my past year looking at my picture album, then I realized how my first half year was filled with pictures, while the latter half having barely nothing. It was because of your presence that my first half year was filled with joy; thank you for being part of those great memories in 2015, IPA.

My pick for the best moment would be Farewell in Vista. Until today, those images are still vivid in my mind; the smell of the wind and the sunlight. And also, thumbs up to the person who placed that picture in this blog's header, it was by far the best picture.

2016 will be good for us all, Happy New Year my folks!

Of Blissful Birthdays and Unfortunate Deaths(?)

Hello everyone! After much pestering from our self-proclaimed class president (he is more of a homework collector, really), I have decided to write an update about the happenings from the last post (dated April 12, 2014) and today (May 9, 2014). Be warned that I tend to ramble a lot and there are a lot of pictures to share, so this blog might get a little lengthy and boring ^^;;

Yeah! Hello everyone!

Well, since no one is really updating this blog, so I guess I have to do it again. Someone, please write T__T ; this is a class blog, but no one wants to write. Huft.

Okay, so what’s the deal? How many months have passed? Around 4-5 months, right? So, during this time, a lot of things happened.

First of all, we got into the 2^nd term, so as usual, everybody’s still working hard, and we’re still striving to be the best. So let’s leave those hardships alone, and talk about the fun.

So the first holiday-s was the Chinese New Year. This is when everyone is so excited, yeah you know, wearing new clothes, eating good foods, and errhmm the pocket money. And then it was Valentine’s, where we have the Senior Prom Night. Everyone’s wearing gowns and suits, and they look all beautiful and handsome.

And then soon it was the Foundation’s Day! Our school’s birthday! So we celebrated it with a lot of events for a whole long week. We have the English League, Mandarin Competition, Sports Festival, Booths, and Talent Show – Mondial in Concert. Some of our classmates joined in few competitions, including debate, mandarin speech, and basketball competition. Some also showed their talents, including dance and mini orchestra. And after Foundation’s we have the Mondial Fun Run. So what is it? Guess, we marched – some ran some walked – from our school, Jalan Yos Sudarso, until our new building, near Ocarina! Rain descended and splashed upon us, nevertheless, we succeeded!

And then aside from school’s activities, we also managed to have some time out together. So we catch-ed movie together, had birthday bashes, and gathered together.

New Year, New Semester, New Everything!

Yo yo yoooooo~
Sup' guys! I hope your day is as great as mine, Hahahaha!
Since you know, Elisa, the one who created this blog handed us (SMA 2 IPA) the username and password to this blog. And I'm also finished with all my school stuff, I decided to put some sparks and colors to this class blog of ours! HAHAHAHAHA.


Alright!
As we all know, 2013 has just passed in the blink of an eye and BOOM! it's 2014 now.
So basically, it's the new year! YUHUUUUUUUU *Celebratory songs playing in the background*.
Hahahahahha, yeah yeah, I know it's the 12th of January already but it's good to still have those kinda new-year spirits right ?


So talking about new year, what is the one thing you can't forget about?
Yeap! New Year's Resolution!
Everybody out there gotta have a New Year's resolution right ? (Even if most of us forgets about it the next day, HAHA)
If you don't have one, then you better get one! It's nice to have a goal every year, it helps us learn and flourish as a person.
But remember, willing without doing is useless. You need to exert effort, a definite amount of work that will ascend you closer towards your goal. To motivates you guys, I'll show you guys a quote I really love by Martin Luther King Jr. :

"If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward"

So what's your New Year's Resolution ? Whatever it is, I hope it's something good and benefit-able to you and everyone around you. I hope it wouldn't end up like this :

Enough about the new year thingy.
In our school (Mondial), we just recently start our new semester on the 6th of January.
And we just received our report card yesterday! For my results? Well I was kinda disappointed.


So when I was sitting at my class with my mom and Mr. Raul, our class adviser. He hand me my report card. So I open my report card and flip the pages slowly, chanting in my head "One one one one one one" and when I reach a certain page, I saw something that shocked me.

"Peringkat 2 dari 23 siswa" (Translation: Rank 2 from 23 students)

Dude! Forget about 1st rank, 2nd rank is already good as hell man!
Immediately I look at my mom and screamed like a little kid who just received a chocolate.
But then my happiness doesn't last long.
It ended when Mr. Raul said :
"Nooo, that's the ranking for your SMA 1 class".
And I was like "Dangggggggggg man". So when I look at the real results, I was ranked 4 out of 27 students, not bad huh? hahhahahaha, but still it's really sad since I dropped from 2 to 4.


When I reached home, I hurriedly whatsapp Diana and Amelia to ask them to take a pic or their report card (I wanna ask Dalvina too but since I saw her report card at school, I don't need it anymore) because they're the one who kicks my ass and pushes me up to rank 4. And to my amaze I found out something. Diana isn't Ranked at the top. It's Amelia who's ranked 1st among us.(Congratulations Amelia)
Yeap, no kidding. Diana Huang, the super "diligent"(kiasu) student didn't succeed in getting rank 1. I was kinda happy when I first heard of that news(No offense Diana). I'm not happy that Diana didn't get rank 1 so don't get the wrong idea. I'm just happy to know that if there is someone out there who can wins against Diana, then why can't I ? lol


But one part of me is kinda sad that she didn't get the first place. Because man, you just angered the tigress by stealing her food lol. So I'm guessing thing's are about to get rough in this semester LOL. (I'm just hoping no one's gonna come out of the class with a black eye one day lol)


So far I haven't mentioned my name. Not even once on this blog post, but I think by now you may have guessed who I am already right? Hahahahhahahaha.

For this year, I'm gonna work extra hard to fulfill one of my New Year's Resolution.
And that is to get the 1st rank.

Family Outing

Hello guys! Hmm, I decided to make this blog into our class' blog. Well, because leaving it just like that would be such a waste, and so I decided so. Hahahaha!

So the thing is that today we had an outing together. Though a lot couldn't make it, about half, but still, nothing is sweeter than the togetherness we share ;) LOL!

Okay, so pretty much the usual things we do, we sang, took pics to the extent as if we're tourists, and then chilling somewhere, sitting around, talking about. That pretty much sum it all, and because pictures speak better than words, here we go!
